Before I meet the couples I get to photograph, I send over a questionnaire to better personalize their session. My favorite thing to ask is their favorite thing about each other and to have them tell me unique things about them as a couple. I learned that Emily loves Seth's goofiness, and Seth loves Emily's selflessness. Answers like these make me a million times more excited to have the love birds in front of my camera and to learn about their love story.
The two met when Seth and Emily were both failing out of pre-pharmacy and decided to form a study group with a mutual friend. Seth and Emily both matched at their top post-graduate pharmacy residency choices. Throughout school, Emily was the planner and workaholic that kept them on track, while Seth always balanced her out by reminding her to enjoy her time on campus.
The wedding day was quite literally a perfect day, from beautiful weather to being ahead of schedule the whole time. In Darlington, Indiana, Dappled Willow made for a gorgeous venue to celebrate the love of The Garries' as they said "I Do" in front of friends and family.
Having a wedding party that hypes up the couple as much as cry over all the sweet moments makes for the perfect combination. We had tears falling during the mother-son dance and all the elegantly spoken toasts.
