Kaitlyn and Joel became Mr. and Mrs. Tharp on Saturday, October 8th, at The SpeakEasy on North Winthrop Ave in Indianapolis, IN. The weather was insane, with perfect chill air and warming sun rays. The leaves have officially made their transition into vibrant fall colors.
Friends and family were crucial on Kaitlyn and Joel's wedding day. Do-it-yourself projects and thrifts done by the family created unique, custom decor. Kaitlyn had her makeup done by a friend who couldn't help but tear up once the bride's look was complete.
First looks were done with the bride and bridesmaids, along with an intimate first look for the bride and groom. The instant Joel turned around to see his soon-to-be-bride, Kaitlyn, his face lit up a million times over. The love that the two of them have for one another is so evident. Before long, the ceremony began to finalize the "I Do's" from Mr. and Mrs. Tharp!
The wedding had so many thoughtful moments to include all guests. A "petal man" replaced the traditional flower girl to begin the ceremony with some sweet laughs from the guests. The chosen family read speeches during the ceremony. The bouquet and garter toss were replaced with a "plushie throw." The couple invited the crowd to be a part of the throw to win the plushie and a $20 gift card to Goodwill.
